9: Integrative doctor Carlos Sanchez talks about growing up in Spain, falling in love with Australia, surfing with dolphins and landing a job at Ibuki Health & Wellness in Noosa.
The way of embracing happiness is having good experiences. It is those experiences that you will take with you to the grave.
In this episode we’ll meet Carlos Sanchez, a Spanish - Aussie who grew up in Cadiz southern Spain, with 1 sister and 2 brothers. Although he had a passion for art and drawing, he later studied medicine, which led him to work as a doctor in the UK. He later took a break to travel around Africa and at the end of his journey he came to Australia, a place he totally fell in love with and now calls home. Carlos also talks about why he bought 50 acres in the Noosa hinterlands, living in a shed and meeting his now partner Cathy. He also talks about why he loves what he is doing now, working as an integrative doctor at Ibuki Health & Wellness in Noosa, how it feels like surfing with dolphins and why he and Cathy (podcast episode#10) built “The Arty Rainforest Cabin Eumundi” to rent out to people who need to wind down.
